Introduction
Alex had got in touch after hearing the good work we were doing. Her last two cars had been convertibles which she loved. The last one she owned for 5 years and although the car was low mileage and great to drive, it was time for a change.
Unfortunately this was the end of the road for the convertibles (for a while at least) as she now had 2 grandkids in car seats who commanded a bit more space!
Challenge
After chatting with Alex, it was clear she wanted something a bit higher like a small SUV. 5 doors was a must and a big desire was to go back to an automatic gearbox. She doesn’t do big mileage so petrol or diesel would do the job. We set a target budget and went to work on it.
Alex had never leased a car before but ha a PCP previously along with mostly HP agreements. She was open to all products and it really came down to matching the right car to fit within budget.
At first we emailed pictures of various options to get an idea of her tastes. After reading a Toyota c-hr review and exploring the different specs we narrowed it down to this type of car.
Outcome
We checked deals on new and used cars and suggested that going for a nearly new Toyota c-hr hybrid on PCP may be the best option for her. It ticked all of the boxes.
We sourced several cars and arranged test drives. Alex fell in love with this particular car. We negotiated further discount from the dealer and finance the car on PCP.
We also agreed a trade price on her old car and took the hassle away of selling privately.
