Introduction
Before the days of CARMERCIAL Leasing, MCL Fire (Formerly DB Mclarnon) was a customer of Paddy’s in a previous role. He supplied vans to the Belfast based company.
Paddy was delighted when Noel and Dermot got in touch a while later to say they needed a new car; and they’d be keen for us to get the business.
They mainly have company vans but this time around it was to replace their sales reps car.
Challenge
The old car was a Vauxhall Insignia Estate which had been purchased. The new car had to be of similar size, in an estate, have a decent spec with SatNav but not high spec/ high price. Having seen the benefits of leasing the vans they now wanted to do the same with the car.
Also as it was a company car, it had to be easy on benefit in kind tax (BIK) for the driver. This will always be our focus when helping someone choose their new company car!
Outcome
After listening to the customers’ needs and desires we went to work searching the market to find a suitable car at a suitable price.
