Introduction
Kyle had been on a tour at the Copeland Distillery. He got chatting with the owner Gareth who was giving him a lift home in the bmw 5 series hybrid we supplied. The chat turned from gin to cars.
Kyle drove a Jaguar XF which was coming to the end of its lease in the next few months. Having got several vehicles from CARMERCIAL Leasing, Gareth suggested he give us a call to see what we could offer.
Challenge
The Jaguar had been great and Kyle loved that saloon type car. Ideally he’d like something of similar size with a premium badge.
On our initial chat we discussed what was important to him in the car and gathered information to run quotes. These included the length of term, annual mileage and upfront payment he’d like to put down. Most importantly, what the monthly budget was to allow us to find suitable deals.
Outcome
We priced the Audi A6 S-Line, Jaguar R-Sport and m sport bmw 5 series. All very similar cars in size, price and spec.
At the time the deals were considerably stronger on the Audi and BMW. We arranged test drives in both cars and when it came to the crunch, the BMW had the edge over the Audi.
